Right now, our state faces difficult economic times and we are doing our very best to meet our obligations and protect vital programs and services, while being responsible stewards of your tax dollars. There are those who want to borrow billions of dollars so that they can avoid making the tough choices, but that will only make our budget problems worse in the years to come as we add interest and debt repayment to already strained budgets.

Whether the topic is our state's budget, dealing with illegal immigration, improving our education and transportation systems, or fighting crime and keeping our neighborhoods safe, there is a lot going on. We want you to know what we are doing and we want you to tell us what you think as well.
